The Shiba Inu community moved ahead after launching the Karma reputation system onto Puppynet which functions as the Shibarium test network. The Shibarium Updates team declared this business achievement recently.

Shiba Inu Karma System and Its Functionality

The Karma system works as a reputation system to measure user engagement in Shiba Inu network activities. The system works with smart contracts particularly KarmaLogic and KarmaStorage. KarmaStorage saves all user actions but KarmaLogic turns them into points for user activities.

In 2023 the ecosystem team created decentralized identifiers (DIDs) which help maintain system security here. Through DIDs users gain ownership of their data so Karma can determine and distribute rewards based on their engagement.

How the Shiba Inu Karma System Works?

Aside from The Dark Shib, the most followed Shiba Inu influencer describes how the Karma system gives points through actions done across the platform. Shiba Inu fans gain digital rewards when they burn SHIB tokens and perform transactions on ShibaSwap while staking and purchasing digital land in SHIB: The Metaverse.

Points available in the system depend on the type of activity selected.

• Burning SHIB – 1,500 points

• Providing liquidity (over $1,500) – 1,500 points

• The Metaverse Land Buying Act nets you 1000 karma points

• Staking SHIB – 500 points

• Users can earn 200 points by adding SHIB/LEASH liquidity into ShibaSwap.

• Successful purchasers of the Shib Magazine NFT cover can earn 100 Karma points.

• Users gain 32 points when they bring gas tokens to Shibarium.

A matching system automatically detects SHIB swaps on ShibaSwap to share the information with KarmaLogic. The system finds matching points before updating KarmaStorage with user data to show correct reward status.

Mainnet Launch and Future Impact

Puppynet currently has the Karma system running but the points system will vary when Shibarium mainnet launches. Staff have not revealed when the Shibarium mainnet will go live.
